Item: The TV show part of the iTunes Store still does not exist in Italian or anywhere in the EU, several months, three iTunes versions and two store iterations later.
Item: All free video content offered by big media companies sniffs my IP. ABC's ad-supported Lost? Yahoo TV's preview of NBC's Heroes? Showtime's Dexter? All of them are available "in the US only" – even those that should not have a licensing agreement, not having been aired yet.

Why?

PS: The absurd thing is that you end up paying more for original-language versions of TV shows and movies — that, of course, require less work on the distributor's part (no dubbing, no adaptation). Gah!
